Mi Tinto
“My Tinto Colombian Coffee”, comes from the Western Cordillera of the Andes, in a small town in Risaralda where I spent most of my years growing up.
It was my mother who taught me my most unforgettable childhood lesson, which was learning to love coffee culture. The coffee harvest festivities were one of the most important events of the year and I was taught that the cultivated and roasted bean is cared for with so much love and dedication. The cargo vehicle known as the “jeep” has been a fundamental instrument for many generations to transport all of the dreams and illusions in each coffee bean.
When I immigrated to the United States, as a young woman with many dreams, looking for opportunities and longing for the warmth of my family and culture, I was inspired to create “my Tinto Colombian Coffee” with the intention of connecting feelings and emotions of the country life through a cup of coffee.
